Jeenbekov: Provokers will be punished

Kyrgyzstan’s president Sooronbay Jeenbekov stated, he will take measures against those who are instigating a confrontation between north and south, president’s press office reports. At the meeting with residents of Ton district, Issyk Kul region, the president noted that recently there are attempts to impose an opinion to the society that Jeenbekov is allegedly trying to establish a clan-family government. “Some people raise the issue of north and south in place and out of place. They damage the people’s unity. We see who is making provocations and we will take measures”, Jeenbekov stated. He noted that he never separated citizens according to their nationality, social status or religion.

Turkiston: When a regime changes in a country, residues of a former regime (third forces) can provoke inter-regional, sectarian conflicts shamelessly and without hesitation in order to escape responsibility for past sins. Thus, the group now headed by ex-president Atambaev aims to shut down the mechanism of anti corruption fight that the new government launched. The “third forces” plan to spread panic in society, inflame territorial belongingness feelings and nationalistic emotions by taking shape of “telephone terrorists” or by other actions. The new government and the elite that supports this government understand very well the purpose of the above actions. Therefore, if this information campaign will succeed, then the third forces will come into the arena with only one ultimatum – to stop unilateral fight against corruption. Miserable batch of the third forces is threatening the country with inter regional conflicts and trying to direct the government towards the Islamic climate in the country. We will see, if the government will start oppressing the religion, then the third forces managed to affect the government. That means, they made agreement and the government will stop the campaign against corrupted officials who caused billions of damage to the country. The government will name the reason to stop the fight against corruption as “increase of threat of religious terrorism and extremism”. So, again, they are distracting the people’s and society’s attention from their dirty tricks.
