Erdogan made clear on whose side he is
“Turkish government is in alliance with Washington and Russia, and Iran is its closest partner”, the Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan said on Thursday at the opening ceremony of a train. He added that relations with China, Iran, and Russia cannot replace the relations with the West. “We do not have any intention to give up on our alliance with the United States, neither on our relations with Russia, nor on partnership with Iran,” said Erdogan. Speaking to reporters at Haberturk news agency, the US official representative said that Turkey and United States intend to develop relations in future. “Orders come from above, i.e. at the level of Trump. Turkey and United States have been NATO allies for over a half century. It will not change, it is highly unlikely that Turkey will prefer someone else instead of the USA. Turkey and United States cooperate in many spheres, particularly in counter terrorism. Important cooperation was achieved in the sphere of intelligence data exchange and in diplomatic relations. In truth, Turkey is also cooperating with Russia, although it cannot be called an alliance”, said the US official representative on condition of anonymity. Erdogan also stated that Turkey would stay in Syria until the region is secured. “It is as wrong to protect Democratic Union Party (PYD) terrorist organization as to protect the Assad regime. But we will continue to stand against the two mistakes to the end. We want masks to fall down and the game to end both in Syria and in Iraq”, Erdogan added. However, Erdogan did not comment the fact that Turkey’s ally — the USA supports the Democratic Union Party (PYD) that Erdogan called “a terrorist organization”. Turkey is also a partner of and in alliance with Russia and Iran which support the Assad regime.
Turkiston: If Erdogan will continue his way in this manner, then he will remain in the history as the most two-faced and traitorous politician!
