Sabr (patience) is half of the religion

Every thinking man, when he arrives in this world, necessarily asks himself about the essence of his own life, about the world around him, about his creation and about what happens to those who leave this world. Unless a man will not find solution for his main problem, he will not find peace in his mind. The same happened to Abdurakhimov Valijan Maripovich, 1076 born, resident of Kensay village, Karasuu district, Osh region, Kyrgyzstan, who always searched for the solution of his main problem along with earthly concerns. Since the day when Valijan came to know the ideas of Hizb and found answers to all questions that had been haunting his mind, he heartily inquired into the Hizb ideas, and Islam and glorification of Allah’s orders on Earth became the meaning of his life. Our brother Valijan directed all his efforts to demonstrate this true meaning of the life to the whole mankind. Thanks to his tireless efforts in this direction, Valijan earned respect and confidence among his villagers in a short period of time. Naturally, the Kyrgyz security authorities noticed his activities. Despite their persecution and pressure, Valijan never stopped his call to the Truth. The force authorities had to put him into prison in order to stop his activities. So, in July 2000 the Karasuu police department arrested him and questioned him and put pressure for four days to force him to deviate from the path and to stop the call to Islam. However, our brother Valijan was uncompromising in his belief and chosen path. Then, the Kyrgyz force authorities chose betrayal and handed Valijan over to the Uzbek national security service through Rahmatullo, officer of Uzbekistan’s ministry of internal affairs. Valijan was tortured for several months in Uzbekistan and in autumn 2000, the Andijan regional court sentenced him to 17,5 years of imprisonment. To serve his sentence, he was sent to Kashkadarya prison, famous for its inhuman tortures and strict regime. During his imprisonment, Valijan was subject to incredible tortures to seduce him out of the right way and to divert him from his beliefs. Failing to break his resolution, the prison administration tried to influence him using his family members. They started to put moral pressure on his mother and wife who came to visit him. “Your son is an extremist and he refuses to appeal for amnesty. That is why he will never get out of prison. It will be easy both for you and for him if he signs an appeal for amnesty”, they told his family members. However, on the contrary, his mother and wife approved his choice and always showed him moral support. The Uzbek force authorities, particularly, special officers of the penitentiary facility, “masters” of various tortures towards imprisoners, ineffectively tried to break Valijan’s will… Our Brother Valijan, by Allah’s will, completed unjust sentence of the Uzbek court and returned home on 2 February, 2018. Not only his villagers but also people of the whole Karasu town and nearby regions came to meet him as their hero. His release from prison was like a holiday. For several days, a stream of people who want to visit him is not reducing. Undoubtedly, no one can humiliate the one who was glorified by Allah Himself; and no one can give honour to the one who was humiliated by Allah. وَلَنَجْزِيَنَّ الَّذِينَ صَبَرُوا أَجْرَهُمْ بِأَحْسَنِ مَا كَانُوا يَعْمَلُونَ “We shall surely grant those who have been patient their reward according to the best of what they did”.
