Supreme leader of North Korea gave a reply instead of leaders of Islamic countries
Leader of North Korea made the expected response from leaders of Islamic countries on US president Donald Trump’s decision to recognize Jerusalem as the capital of “Israel” and to move the US embassy from Tel Aviv to Jerusalem. The North Korean leader called Trump “old fool” and named his decision as “imbecility and madness”. Kim Jong-un asked in his statement, “Is there a state Israel that Jerusalem would be its capital?”. North Korean minister of foreign affairs Ri Yong-ho stated that they do not recognize the Jewish state and called Jerusalem the capital of Palestine. Another foreign affairs representative of North Korea named Trump’s decision on Jerusalem as “equivocal and evil”. He stated that the acts of the US clearly showed everyone who was the destroyer of global peace and security. North Korean foreign affairs representative said, “We are not surprised with acts of this mad dotard (president Trump) who called to destroy an independent sovereign country (North Korea) which is the member of the United Nations. Thanks to this decision, the world could learn who is destroying global peace and security on our planet”. He also expressed support and solidarity with “great and just affair of Palestinian people and the whole Arab nation”. It is a reminder that last Wednesday, on December 6, Trump stated that it is the time to recognize Jerusalem as the capital of the Jewish state and ordered to move the US embassy there from Tel Aviv. The most remarkable is that before announcing his decision on Jerusalem, Trump had telephone talks with many leaders of Islamic countries who always shout that they “care” about Jerusalem and Al-Aqsa mosque. Saudi King Salman ibn Abdul-Aziz, Egypt’s president Abdel Fattah As-Sisi are among those leaders. Trump informed them during telephone talks that after several hours he would announce Jerusalem as the capital of “Israel”.
