“Jerusalem will be a grave but not a capital of Israel”
As a sign of protest against declaring Jerusalem as the capital of Israel,) Hizb ut-Tahrir Turkey vilayet (province) organized demonstrations in Turkish cities as Ankara, Istanbul, Bursa, Adana, Sanliurfa, Diyarbakir, Gaziantep, Bitlis, Van, Mersin, Hatay, Konya, Kahramanmarash, Aydin, and Yalova. Many Muslims participated the demonstrations. They carried such slogans as “Unite for al-Quds, for Jerusalem; Jerusalem will be rather a grave than a capital of Israel”, “Oh, Muslims! It is well known that Jerusalem is the land of Israa and Miraj! Jerusalem is the first qiblah of Muslims! Jerusalem is amanat of Allah and His Messenger (peace and blessing of Allah be upon him). Therefore, Jerusalem can never be a capital of Jews. Again, Jerusalem will become only a grave for them”, “Brothers! Jews, cursed by their own prophets, are committing their atrocities only hoping for protection of the above regimes. Without these bloody regimes, the Jewish people would never even come close to the holy mosque of Al-Aqsa”. “Oh, Muslims! Jerusalem and Al-Aqsa mosque will not be saved just by shouting. Neither resolutions of the Organization of Islamic Cooperation, nor diplomatic contacts, and nor making peace agreements between the two states are useless. Al-Quds and Al-Aqsa mosque can be saved only by such leaders as Salahiddin, who ordered: “it is not allowed to be happy as long as Jerusalem is occupied”, or Umar (be Allah pleased with him), who said, “If we seek greatness in something else apart from Islam, Allah will humiliate us”, or Abdulhamid, who said, “I will not sell even a single stone from Palestine. It is not mine; it is the property of the Islam Ummah”. Therefore, Jerusalem will be liberated by an army, not by empty words!” slogans say. Also, a demonstration was held near the USA consulate in Istanbul. Speaker of Hizb ut-Tahrir-Turkey vilayat made a statement titled “Jerusalem will be a grave but not a capital of Israel”. Participants of the demonstration promised to work double tides for restoration of the Khilafah by the method of the Prophet in order to save Jerusalem and Ummah from the evil of unbelievers.
