Migrants were arrested in Istanbul again
Officers of counter terrorism division of Istanbul Police Department conducted a night time counter terroristic operation simultaneously in Zeytinburnu, Tuzla, Umraniye, Bayrampasha, Bashakshehir, and Esenyurt districts of Istanbul. Nine migrants who found shelter in Turkey were arrested during the operation. Five of them are children. They all are members of Turkestan-Der civil organization. The arrested were sent to the Turkish migration department for deportation without preliminary investigation. Among the arrested there is Dilafruz Shamsidinova and her three children. She was arrested last year, too, but she was released by order of the migration center head because she was pregnant and she gave birth to a child right in the migration department. According to the leader of Turkestan-Der Burhan Kavunchu, the arrested people are not related to the ISIS and the government’s actions are a violence towards migrants. “Those who arrested these people know very well that they have no relation to the ISIS. The arrested peopled are handed over to the migration department without any investigation and just based on presumption that they could be related to terrorism. These actions of the government will be written in the history as an injustice and violence of Turkey towards Turkestan’s Muslims”, Kavunchu said. Turkish authorities arrest migrants from Eastern Turkestan, Uzbekistan, Kyrgyzstan, and Tajikistan who legally live and work in Turkey and send them to the migration department for deportation to home according to agreements between Russia and China on counter terrorism cooperation. It is not a secret – what fate is awaiting them in their homeland. Especially in China and Russia, where the true Muslims are considered as dangerous terrorists.
